Day 1: San José

Welcome in Costa Rica. Arrival at the airport, transfers to your first hotel. A shuttle will pick you up at the airport.

Day 2-3: Tortuguero

Transfer by bus and boat to Tortuguero National Park! This park is internationally recognized for its protection of the largest green turtle nesting beach in the Western Hemisphere.

Far removed from the city and composed of an extensive network of rivers, access is only possible by small boats.

You will discover the mystical canals and pristine rainforest at Tortuguero ona half-day boot tour.

Day 4-5: Caribbean

Pick up your rental car and drive to the Caribbean coast

Visit Cahuita National Park, hike in the park where you can discover species such as raccoons, sloths, iguanas, and basilisk. Relax at the white sand beach with turquoise sea.

Day 6: Sarapiqui

Head to Sarapiqui, know as an important ecotourism destination in Costa Rica. There are plenty of hiking and nature walk opportunities in this region as well as white water rafting down the River Sarapiqui.

Day 7-8: Arenal Volcano

Drive to Fortuna and visit the iconic Arenal volcano to be considered one of the most beautiful volcanoes in the world. It has a prefect cone shape, and clouds commonly roll at the volcano’s peak.

Explore Arenal Volcano National park with a naturalist guide in search of old lava flow and wildlife. Slight changes in altitude create unique micro-climates and ecosystems through this region, making it home to a variety of exotic species.

Enjoy the all-natural hot springs, Arenal is the home to several hot springs. Formed when water is heated underground and bubbles to the surface. The mineral waters have been used as therapeutic baths for more than 200 years to treat rheumatism and other ailments.

Day 9-10: Rincón de la Vieja

Visit the Oropendola Waterfall where you can jump in and swim in the blue lagoon.

The possibility of different activities: visit the hot springs and volcanic mud bath, horseback riding and river tubing.

Day 11-12: Monteverde – Canopy

Head to Santa Elena, gateway to Monteverde. 3 cloud forest reserves can be found in this region. There is an assortment of activities to help you engage with these forests. Hiking tours with a naturalist guide, canopy walks, and aerial tram tours. Visit the butterfly farm and the insect museum.

Go for breath taking adventure with a zipline at the extreme park or go for a coffee tour if you prefer to go at ease.

Day 13: Manuel Antonio

Manuel Antonio is one of the jewels you absolutely need to know. An amazing flora and fauna that you can discover visiting the national park as well as two of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
